Scott is a native Oklahoman. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on December 28, 1971. He is married to Angela (Berglan), who is originally from Norman, Oklahoma. They have two sons, Luke and Blake. His parents are Lavaughn and Phyllis (Penland) Martin.
