Neil is a native Oklahoman. He was born in Muse, Oklahoma, October 29, 1940. His parents are Ammon and Jewell Dean (Hall) Brannon. He is married to Gail (Sliger), they have one daughter, Launa who is married to David Benson, and two granddaughters.
