OETA operates Oklahoma’s warning, alert and response systems and it is the most-watched PBS station in the country. The Governor included funding for OETA in his original budget. Eliminating funding for OETA deprives Oklahomans of free, high-quality educational programing and demonstrates that the Governor is out of touch with Oklahomans in both urban and rural communities. I would encourage a bipartisan effort by both chambers to support the people of Oklahoma by overriding the Governor’s veto,”
