OKLAHOMA CITY – Rep. Justin Humphrey, R-Lane, today issued the following statement in support of the Nation of Israel.

"The Bible tells us those who bless Israel, God will bless; those who curse her, He will curse. Blessing Israel has always been a fundamental core belief of mine. My belief goes beyond just mere words but can be revealed in my actions. That is why I felt compelled to zealously declare my support for the Jewish people and the nation of Israel.

In recent years it has become trendy for some Americans to denigrate, mock, or attack the Jewish people and the nation of Israel. However, in the aftermath of the recent terrorist attacks, I am appalled by the protests and demonstrations in America in support of terrorists who kidnap, rape, murder and attack innocent civilians. But even more atrocious are members of our own American Congress promoting terrorists who behead and burn babies. These terrorist-loving elected officials are treasonous and they should be kicked out of Congress. 

This is not merely a catastrophic tragedy for Israel, but now we are witnessing terrorists once again making threats against the United States. How did we go from terrorists being almost utterly defeated and minimum global conflicts to multiple full-scale wars? One contributing factor has been the Biden Administration’s debacle in Afghanistan. The Afghan catastrophe undoubtedly provided terrorists with weapons and demonstrated our current administration's incompetence and weakness. Additionally, providing Iran with $6 billion more in funding unquestionably supplied funding for terrorism. But the most significant contributor to the global conflicts and the attacks on Israel has been the Biden Administration halting America’s energy dominance. Biden's termination of energy exploration has weakened America and strengthened our enemies. Iran and Russia greatly benefit when America allows them to dominate energy production. Consequently, the Biden Administration has indirectly been funding Russia, Iran, and these terrorists. Biden has made us energy dependent on our enemies, ultimately setting Americans up for massive hikes in fuel cost. Don’t forget Biden sold our oil reserves to our enemy China. That means no reserves to control oil prices, and if America enters a war, we have no oil reserves. Assuredly, America is up the creek without a paddle. Ironically, Biden’s climate policies increase oil and gas production for the countries who are the principal and prime climate control culprits. 

Israel and America are under attack. It is time Congress does more than just talk! If Congress wants to help Israel, they should establish American energy dominance, establish American supply chains, restore the U.S. Military and terminate woke policies. Congress must stop trivial political disputes while terrorists attack Israel and invade our nation. America must protect our border and destroy cartels who are killing Americans with drugs. America and Israel achieve peace through strength. My allegiance will always be to America, but I speak blessings on the Jewish people and the nation of Israel."
